Friday 7th

Settle in at your accommodation and join us for a "Skilpad Braai" at the Lapa on Murasie venue farm.
Braai starts at 18:00
Please bring your own drinks.
Saturday 8th
(Morning)
Relax and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Overberg.
You might enjoy grabbing a Brekkie at Marietjies Pub in Baardskeerdersbos or visit the nature reserve close by while we are getting ready for our BIG DAY.

Ceremony at the dam in front of Murasie venue 15:30 for 16:00

Join us for the wedding at Murasie near Pearly Beach and Baardskeerdersbos from 15:30. Ceremony starts at 16:00.
Transportation
From Airport:
Best suggested method of transport in South-Africa is to rent a car. (Note: we drive on the left side)
For the day of the wedding:
A shuttle service will be available for pick-up and drop-off between Murasie and Pearly beach.

Murasie offer 26 2-sleeper tents; each tent is equipped with 2 mattresses.
The campsite has its ablution facilities with plugs and spacious showers
and a bosbraai Lapa.
No linen or towels are provided.

Unfortunately the Self catering cottages have been booked for the Bride and Groom's Family and Bridal party.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the appropriate attire for the wedding event?
Guests are encouraged to dress semi-formal for the wedding event. Men typically wear button shirts and closed shoes (length on pants depends on weather) Women often opt for cocktail dresses or a beautiful summer dress as February is a hot month. Please note most of the outside terrain is grassy/sandy when choosing footwear.
Is there a designated parking area for guests attending the wedding?
Designated parking will be available. Please follow the parking signs' instructions upon arrival.
Are there any dietary restrictions or meal preferences that guests should inform the hosts about?
Guests with dietary restrictions and/or allergies are encouraged to inform the hosts in advance so that suitable arrangements can be made for the wedding reception. Please mention this when you RSVP.
Friday "Skilpad Braai" expectations
Intended as an informal meet and greet for guests from near and far. Food and snacks will be provided. Please bring own drinks as no bar will be available on this evening.
Will children be allowed?
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
